We wanted to do a more modern twist on the ocean theme. Rather than having big plastic blow up sea creatures, sand, palm trees and hula skirts we kept it very modern and clean.

This blog has been such a beautiful outlet for me to share my thoughts and our journey as a family. It began when Chris and I were a young couple, then to the addition of our hound dog hank, to the birth of our daughter and now with baby number two on the way!

With Valentines Day around the corner, Chris and I are sharing some fun facts about is in a fun Q&A vlog. I can't believe some of the things he says. 

Today was a major success for potty training but it definitely was a lot of work. You know those days where everything seems to go wrong? Well, today was one of those days. I needed to remmeber not to give up.

This is a short account of the first day potty training a one year old. Over all I would consider it a success however there was a lot of pee on the floor that needed to be cleaned up. My friend Shana from Life as Wife and Mom blog and her two sweet boys met up with us to do our Christmas Card photos. She is so talented! She really captured our silly family moments and made us look good. My favourite thing about these photos are how easy and fun they were to take. Rather than feeling posed and awkward in front of the camera, Shana captured moments of us just being a family.
