A Change on New Year's Resolutions

New town. New home. New friends.New experiences. New ventures. New Year!

It’s the New Year, time to set some resolutions for 2015.

The majority of us that set New Year’s resolutions forget them once we go back to our busy lives. We start the year off by going to the gym regularly and going on some crazy diet, but then we lose track of time. Work, appointments, grocery shopping and housework take up our time and our resolution gets pushed aside.  I too am guilty of being enthusiastic about New Year’s resolutions on January 1st and forgetting them by the end of the month.

This year I am going to try something different and see how it works out. I’m going to set smaller goals instead of committing to something drastic like getting a gym membership and working out every day. I want to be able to reach my goals instead of just forgetting about them until next year. It may sound cheesy to say ‘take the stairs instead of the elevator’, but that’s what I’m going to metaphorically do.  Something as simple as taking the stairs is a change I can easily fit into my life.

Resolutions

1) Get Healthy! 2) Eat Local Organic Produce! 3) Grow My Blog! 4) Open My Etsy Shop!

My little word of advice to you is to pick small manageable goals that fit into your life style. It will give you a sense of accomplishment when you can stick to it and finish it!

Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year!
