Kale is the New Black

Kale is the New Black This newly trending super food is packed full of vitamins and nutrients. I couldn't just believe the hype; I had to try it out for myself. To my surprise I really enjoyed it.

New Year resolution for 2015 - Eat healthy!

Sautéed Garlic Kale  1 ½ cups of kale 3 minced garlic cloves 2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper Squeeze of lemon (You could also use this recipe for spinach. I like to use a mixture of both kale and spinach.)

Rinse and cut the kale into 1 inch strips. Mince and sauté garlic in a large pan over medium heat. Add kale, salt and pepper into the pan and cover. Cook until spinach is wilted (3-4 minutes). Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkle of salt.
